About Us
Lorenzo Jackson has had a passion for food from a very young age. Raised by his father a Texas native, he grew to love cooking BBQ. His favorite memories from his childhood were barbecuing in the backyard with his father.
Lorenzo went on to graduate from the Art Institute with a degree in Culinary Arts. He has traveled all over the world to get first-hand experience in different types of cultural cuisine. He studied with top professionals in Thailand, Peru and Italy.
He has worked as a chef at a world renowned hotel, as well as various other event planning companies including owning his own catering company.
All his training has ultimately prepared him and has perfected his art for cooking and getting him to where he is today the owner of Smokin Zo’s.
